Faheem Yar Khan

He is currently working as an Associate Professor at Department of Telecommunication Engineering, MUET. In 2009, he was awarded HEC’s Open Merit Scholarship to pursue PhD studies in Italy and received the degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy in 2014. During his Ph.D., he was awarded 1000 Euro Grant by 25th International Teletraffic Congress (ITC), held at Shanghai, China to present his paper.

In 2018, he received the award of "engineer of the year 2017" from IEEEP, PK. In 2019, he received the award of "excellent tutor" from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. within Middle East region. He has numerous national and international research publications to his credit. He holds various certifications and has been conducting various training workshops and tutorials in the domain of communication networks. He is also member of professional bodies such as IEEE Communication Society. Presently, he is focusing his research interests in energy efficient tcp/ip networks. In past, he has worked on Neural Networks and its application in data networks.
