He has an accomplished career demonstrating consistent success as an educator and an administrator at the institution of higher learning. He also has an experience in conceiving and building academic programs from the ground up through the end with proven competencies in administration, project and program management, and staff development. He is also an effective communicator with excellent planning, organizational, and negotiations skills to obtain desired results.

Currently he is supervising 1 Ph.D. and 2 M.E. students and his research interests are in the following areas.

  • Digital Communications (including optical) over Propagation Channels
  • Multiple Antenna Systems (MIMO) and their Channel Modeling
  • Cognitive Radios (Spectrum Sharing and Co-operative Diversity Systems)
  • Social aspects of ICTs related to health and education

In past, he has supervised following projects successfully.

  • PAPR Reduction Technique in MC CDMA Systems
  • Localization techniques used in EGSM Networks
  • Performance Analysis with simulation of UMTS/WCDMA based MIMO Networks
  • Performance Analysis of Routing protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks
  • Spatial Correlation based co-operative diversity in Wireless Sensor Networks
  • Blind Channel Equalization techniques in Communication Systems
  • Approach for Rate Selection in MIMO OFDM Systems
