Shahzaib Khalid is a Telecommunication and Communication Systems Engineer with an M.E. in Communication Systems and Networks from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, completed in 2022 with a CGPA of 3.86/4.0 (First Division). He served as Class Representative during his master's and Vice Class Representative during his bachelor's.
His M.E. thesis, "COVID-19 Diagnosis from CXR Images through an Ensemble of Machine Learning Models", applied transfer learning and ensemble classifiers to chest X-ray datasets and was published in the International Journal of Computer Science & Network Security (IJCSNS). His B.E. final year project was a drone-based swarm robotics system, for which he led a four-member team and secured PKR 100,000 in funding from the MUET Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center.
Since 2022 he has worked on machine learning research and large-language-model automation projects for clients in the United States, and in 2022 he completed a field traineeship with the National Highway Authority involving optical fibre installation. He has also built an AI-powered VAT auditing platform on Google Firebase Studio.
