Competition Placements
Engr. Saqib Hussain is a Lecturer in the BS Cyber Security programme at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, a post he has held since August 2025. He previously served as a Research Associate in BS Cyber Security (2023–2025) and as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering (2019–2021).
He completed his M.E. in Telecommunication Engineering & Management at MUET with a CGPA of 3.87/4.0. His thesis, "Towards Automated Recognition of Schizophrenia from EEG Signals", was supervised by Dr. Zafi Sherhan Shah with Dr. Nasrullah Pirzada as co-supervisor. He earned his B.E. in Telecommunication Engineering from MUET with a thesis on a wearable antenna for real-time health monitoring, and has been enrolled in the PhD in Telecommunication Engineering at MUET since February 2023.
His work spans machine learning for biomedical signals and speech, antenna design for wireless body area networks, and network security and infrastructure. He holds Huawei HCIA certifications across Datacom, Security, WLAN, Big Data, AI and IoT, and the HCIP in Routing & Switching, and has trained students for Huawei ICT competitions.
