Dr. Imran Ali Qureshi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, where he has served since September 2006. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervises bachelor-level projects.

He holds a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China (2010–2014), an M.E. in Communication Systems and Networks from MUET (CGPA 3.57/4.0), a Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering from the National University of Sciences & Technology, Rawalpindi (CGPA 3.44/4.0), and a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from MUET, where he graduated second in his class with a CGPA of 4.0/4.0.

Before joining MUET he worked as an Assistant Divisional Engineer at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) from 2002 to 2006, operating and maintaining Siemens EWSD exchanges in Hyderabad and gaining hands-on experience with optical fibre, WLL, IN and mobile operator networks.
