An interactive skype session off 1hr was held with the 8th grade students of Beacon House School Systems’ Secondary Branch, Hyd, on 7th March 2017. Talk was tiled: “ THE GOLDEN RATIOS” and delivered by Nafeesa Bohra, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Telecommunication Engg. Mehran UET, Jamshoro. The major purpose of this session was to make aware students with the latest trends that can be used to have interaction with senior professors of university. The session helped students in understanding the concept of “Golden Ratios” based on the Fabonacci series, named after a mathematician Fabonacci, who gave the concept of number series starting from 0,1 and then every other number is an addition of the previous two. Such as: 0,1,1,2,3,5,8, —- . it can also be observed from this series that when the ration is being taken then after 13th number of the series the ration is constant as 1.618 and hence called as the “GOLDEN NUMBER OR GOLDEN RATIO”. GOLDEN RATIO is applied in diversified field. Such as:

  • Nature ( Plants& Animals)
  • Arts & Architecture
  • The Automotive industry…
  • Music and Musical reproduction…
  • Fashion…
  • Hand writing…
  • General Design…ETC

The example of this ratio can be studied in:

  • Human Face, Eye, Teeth, Fingers etc
  • The famous painting of Mona Liza by Leonardo Devincci
  • Egyptian Pyramids
  • The Parthenon, Greece
  • The Great Wall of China
  • Dome of Paul: London, England
  • United Nations Headquarters,….. ETC
